Our primary mission is to provide English language information and news to communities that are not otherwise served.
The objectives of the sites is to provide local communities news via the online version of the newspaper.
These news site are also community references for finding everything about local communities.
We collect nformation from a number of databases, regular readers and advertisers, which allows us to present: community event listings, school sports teems and standings, entertainment and other event listings as well as the articles and stories from our newspapers writers.
The site addresses the need for the community to be informed about what politicians are doing, what city programs are available, how the news affects them etc. We are often the only English language media for the area.
The target market is based on the search results for the Laval News:
Majority Male (62%) versus 38% female, the age group is between 35 and 49. This description may change with the greater emphasis on entertainment and restaurants (once the databases are online).
